Our first stop in Bali

Kuta Square is always our first stop in Bali. We go to the big department store, Matahari, and also the supermarket on the ground level. It's within walking distance from our hotel and just up from the beach.

Love coming to Matahari for shopping (and the air-conditioning!). All the prices are fixed and you can get all of your souvenirs downstairs without the hassle of bargaining.

Good shopping

Kuta Square is great for shopping, there are lots of surf shops and a big multi-storey department store. Also a McDonalds if you don't feel like local food. We walked to Kuta Beach afterwards, it only took a few minutes.
