• Buyer beware!

  I visited this shop on a recent trip to Seminyak and purchased a silver ring while my sister purchased a pearl bracelet. Both were good quality at a good price - no complaints there. Upon our return to Australia, friends and family commented on our jewellery and asked us about purchasing similar items from the store's online shop. I purchased the exact same pearl bracelet for my mum and an identical ring for a friend. The price was the same as we paid in Bali, however each item attracted a hefty shipping fee of almost $20. Considering these items weigh next to nothing, $40 in shipping seemed high however I paid it. When the items arrived we were extremely disappointed. The bracelet was around one third of the size and weight of the one we purchased in person. The pearls were tiny and the bracelet itself could barely fit around my mum's (small) wrist. It was clearly a cheap version of the original. Same story with the ring. The silver was so thin and fine (around a third of the thickness of the original) that it bent straight away and is now unwearable.
  
  While this shop sells good quality jewellery in person, I feel incredibly ripped off that the items I bought online were such poor quality. This place reeks of dodgy behaviour and is clearly cutting corners and ripping customers off where they can. Buyer beware.

• great value and service

  I was looking for some present to bring home and a treat for myself. I found them all in this cute little shop.
  The shopkeeper was attentive and helpful (but not pushy) so I sorted out all my presents in one shop.
  
  Also, they have a "husband chair", so he keeps relaxed and cool while I was trying and choosing the pieces. Found this idea just great!
  
  Now it's my favourite silver shop in Bali, and I will order online from home as well!

  I was looking for the simple and Asian-taste necklace, and I found it in Kapal Laut. The staff said that the quality of silver was good. You can find the one for yourself.
